2003 - Shadowpath recieves not-for-profit status.

2004 - Shadowpath presents a double-bill at The Poor Alex Theatre in Toronto.

2005 - Shadowpath presents Deadman in Toronto and Brampton.

2005 - Shadowpath presents Look Back In Anger in Aurora.

2006 - Shadowpath presents A Night of Playreadings in Newmarket that would eventually become Plays In Cafes.

2006 - Shadowpath presents a new playwrights festival in Aurora called The Playwrights of Spring.

2008 - Paradise By The River is presented in Vaughan.

2009 - The Good German is presented in Vaughan.

2010 - Shadowpath receives funding from the Department of Citizenship & Immigration to tour Paradise By The River by Canadian playwright, Vittorio Rossi, from Vaughan to Toronto.

2011 - Shadowpath co-produces The Book Of Judith at Aurora's Cultural Centre.

2012 - Shadowpath receives funding from the Ontario Arts Council to present Alex Karolyi's new play, The Hungarian Art of Smiling in Thornhill and Aurora.

2012 - Shadowpath partners with Alexander Mackenzie High School in Richmond Hill to offer theatre workshops in playwrighting, grant writing and producing.

2012 - Shadowpath receives charitable status.

2013 - Readings In Wineries is born at Stouffville's Willow Springs Winery and offers anyone the opportunity to read a role.

2013 - Hotel Solstice is born at Aloft Vaughan Mills and features over 30 artists roaming and programmed throughout the hotel.

2014 - Cuisine Scenes is born at Hungry Brew Hops in Newmarket - Shadowpath's spin on dinner-theatre.

2014 - Shadowpath receives funding to launch FREE drama workshops for the senior public in partnership with Hesperus Village.

​2015 - Plays In Cafes goes on the road to the Toronto and Vancouver Fringe Festival, launching the touring company!

2015 - Cuisine Scenes NYE ends up at The SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Vaughan, Casablanca-style!

2016 - Shadowpath receives a 3 year grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation to hired 15 female creative leaders to train as Artistic Producers and Directors. 

2016 - Plays In Cafes evolves into the Cafe Cruise along Yonge Street in Richmond Hill.

2016 - New partnership with the Newmarket Public Library brings The Haunted Library storytelling project.

2016 - Shadowpath wins Innovation awards at Newmarket's Business Excellence Awards and Richmond Hill's Creativity Connected Awards and is nominated for Best Not-for-Profit at Vaughan's Chamber of Commerce Excellence Awards.

2016 - The FemmeOperative is officially launched in Aurora in November featuring Samantha Wainberg from the York Region Arts Council and Bonnie Craig from Ovation! Arts Academy.

2017 - Artistic Director Alex Karolyi recieves a Leadership award from MP Chris Ballard.

​2017 - The second FemmeOperative visits Lake Wilcox Brewery in Vaughan featuring Technical Director and Theatre Manager, Jacquie Lazar and the Artistic Director and Conductor of The Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts, Jessica V Kun.

2017 - Die Another Valentine's Day brings Shadowpath to Pfaff Audi Newmarket car dealership for this exciting, multi-artistic Valentine's Day celebration.

2017 - Free Youth Workshops are made possible from Theatre Ontario funding and hosted in Richmond Hill, Newmarket and Markham with a final presentation in the fall,Conversations With My Younger Self.

2017 - The 8th edition of Readings In Wineries takes place at Willow Springs Winery in Stouffville featuring new script by Alex Karolyi, Word Ball

2017 - The third FemmeOperative visits Yoga Source Therapy Studio in Newmarket featuring Newmarket’s Supervisor of Cultural Services Laura Schembri and Cultural Facility & Programming Coordinator, ​​Ashley Chappell.

2017 - The first dinner in the Dinner With Canada series featuring Pierre Elliott Trudeau at the Kortright Centre for Conservation in Vaughan thanks to funding from the Ontario 150 fund.

2017 -On The Fringe of Richmond Hill is a preview performance of Plays In Cafes at the Toronto Fringe Festival and occurs in a private residence for an intimate audience.

2017 -Plays In Cafes at The Fringe of Toronto Festival features Caleb And Rita by Jessica Moss, Rerun Cocktail by Melly Magrath and The Hijackers by Alex Karolyi.

2017 - Dinner with Viola Desmond is the second dinner from the Dinner With Canada series at Newmarket's Old Town Hall.

2017 - Conversations With My Younger Self funded by Theatre Ontario features a multi-generational performance in Markham and Newmarket.

2017 - Happy Haunted Town is funded by the Town of Richmond Hill and features performers roaming down the main downtown core bringing local history to life

2017 - AGM features a Jeopardy spoof at Newmakit Makers Space in partnership with the York Region Art Council's networking event

2017 - Dinner With Louis Riel is our final immersive Canada 150 dinner at Markham Theatre.

2018 - The Conversation Cafe launches at Hesperus Village in Vaughan and features residents and locale seniors who are making an impact in their community. Funded by the New Horizons for Seniors Program

2018 - Lovemobile revs up at Pfaff Audi Newmarket making Valentine's Day one to remember.

2018 - Shadowpath Day was April 28th and consisted of creative writing workshop, Into The Woods We Write at the Swan Lake Centre for Innovation, The FemmeOperative at Thatz Showbiz in Thornhill and our first ever immersive fitness play, Soulful & Sweaty, written by Laura Katherine Hayes.

2018 - Plays In Cafes the Musical Edition opens at The Poetry Jazz Cafe for The Toronto Fringe Festival and wins Best of Fringe and travels north to Theatre Orangeville's 519 Fringe Fest, before  hitting Innisfil's IdeaLab & Library and Bruno's Bakery. Funded by Inspiring Innisfil's Community Grant Program.

2018 - Dinner With Grace is our Haunted Hilltop project thanks to funding from The Town of Richmond Hill.

2018 - Our 15 year Crystal Anniversary AGM is hosted at The Richmond Hill Art School.

2018 - In partnership with the Toronto & Region Conservation Authority, Shadowpath brings the history of Lake St. George to life.

2019 - Three workshops are offered in Richmond Hill: Improve Your Improv, Creative Writing 101 and Creativity & Core

2019 - The Wildflower Retreat is presented at the Kortright Centre for Conservation and was the first Shadowpath production to roam through the woods seeking performances.

2019 - Table 7 - A Plays In Cafes Creation was presented at the Toronto Fringe Festival to enthusiastic audiences and was recommended by Mooney On Theatre.

2019 - Tea With Emily and Tea With Grace were presented at Hesperus Village in Vaughan portraying Canadian icons Emily Carr and Grace Marks.

2019 - Our Sweet 16 AGM is hosted at Pinot's Palette in Woodbridge.

2019 - New 8 month partnership with 360 Kids in Richmond Hill produces regular open mic sessions and a podcast featuring the stories of at-risk youth.

2020 - Shadowpath's first Fashion Show launches at Hesperus Village, called Feel Fab in Feb.

2020 - Tea With Viola is presented at Hesperus Village featuring the real life story of Canadian icon Viola Desmond.

2020 - Our first Play Reading Club begins in May 2020 and attracts over 80 members by end of the year.

2020 - A Partnership with Newmarket Public Library creates 3 enhanced virtual play readings of Trifles, Overtones and Florence.

2020 - The York Region Arts Council and Canada Council for the Arts support the realization of our Apartmental project and Jesse's Story is presented in August and Drew's Story in November.

2020 - Our Industry SLAM Sessions go virtual with Trey Anthony in June and Marjorie Chan in December.

2020 - Formidable Fridays The Making Of A Festival features brainstormers in August and November sharing ideas about a new kind of classical play festival.

2020 - Theatre-Making 101 launches in November in partnership with the Newmarket Public Library and introduces storytelling to New Canadians or those with immigration experiences.

2020 - Drew's Story is presented as a virtual play in November with a talkback session. 

2021 - Theatre Out Of The Shadows launches in May with our first radio play, Sapientia and features four workshops and three outdoor performances.

2021 - Ramone's Story is presented in June as a virtual play with a talkback session.

2021 - Exit An Illusion by Marita Bonner is presented outdoors at Black Creek Pioneer Village in July.

2021 - The Wedding Day by Elizabeth Inchbald is presented outdoors at Thornhill Country Club in August.

2021 - The Unplugging by Yvette Nolan is presented outdoors at the Kortright Centre for Conservation.

2021 - Our mystery character costume parade is presented at Hesperus Village in Vaughan in October and features seniors as the writers and performers.

2021 - A murder mystery is presented at the Thornhill Country Club in November.

2022 - The Adventures Of Venice (1700) by Susanna Centlivre presented virtually in January in partnership with The Newmarket Public Library.

2022 - Plays In Cafes is presented at the Thornhill Hill Country Club.

2022 - Theatre Out Of The Shadows presents three classical plays by women, Callimachus in Newmarket, The Dream in Vaughan and Restless Night In Late Spring in Markham.

2022 - Shadowpath returns to Newmarket Public Library with The Haunted Library.

2022 - Shadowpath's Artistic Director is short-listed for Charity Village's Most Outstanding Impact Award.

2023 - Theatre Out Of The Shadows presents three classical plays by women, Sappho Fragmented, Okuni Through The Misty Skies (The story of Okuni's Kabuki Theatre) and Three Sisters Who Are Not Sisters in Markham and Toronto.

2023 - Treefrog commissions Shadowpath to create activations for their corporate event in Newmarket.

2023 - Shadowpath presents BiograTREE as part of their 20 year AGM in the gardens of the historical Hillary House.

2023 - Aurora's Haunted in partnership with the Historical Society of Aurora is presented at the Hillary House.

2024 - Shadowpath wins an award of Excellence in Heritage Conservation from the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario.

2024 - Short Films by Seniors is presented at Hesperus Village featuring four new short films in collaboration with Shadowpath artists.

2024 - Shadowpath is named Most Impactful Theatre Company of Southern Ontario by the Canadian Business Awards.
